Why is it that I rarely hear anybody mention Steinberg Nuendo. Personally I love the program and find it very easy to use on a basic level.
My experiences with Cool Edit have been less than impressive.
Any feedback on what the general impressions of Nuendo are would be appreciated.

Hi,
if you do audio recording, all the instruments are played live, go for nuendo.
Mainly midi and audiotracks go sx.
They are both ok

Most of the guy's work with midi and audio mixed
That's why you hear less from nuendo.

cool edit is only for recording, mixing, and processing
a much different program than nuendo, very linear...
