I can record and playback audio but I cant hear my metronome on record or playback. It worked just the other day. Any ideas?

It would help if you post details about your system and what version of cakewalk you're using.
If you're using Sonar, go to Options > Project > Metronome Tab.
You can check on playback and/or recording to activate metronome. All versions of cakewalk before sonar 4 sent the metronome to an assiggned midi port. Often, it would be assigned to Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth but it can be assigned to any port/synth combination you have.
