What is so special that you like most and least?
My needs: a recorder to record 3-4 tracks at home demos of guitar-bass arrangement for my group

The interface is too minimalist. It was quickly losing its young, or even run over by a mistake made that we wanted to keep. No, I just compared it with that of the sheet Korg D4. It has an XLR input as well, but its price was 50% higher

Expensive in absolute terms, but less than the competition. A € 100, we find that the Line 6 Backtrack, but which serves as a voice recorder for guitar

Basically, I'm glad it fits my needs. However, its interface and its propensity to fall is frustrating. I may be too used to the comfort of Cubase ... but suddenly, if I had to make another choice, I will test the Korg happy.

The main drawback that I found is the lack of rechargeable battery and the fact that the taking of power supply by 9V battery will not charge you put in (it's two separate power supplies, a 3V and 9V ). Too bad only in passing that the line input is stereo.

It comes with a 128 MB SD card, I recommend 1GB plutt, with that you be quiet!
I do not use batteries, others say it's eating too fast.

I had a choice in my price range between a tascam 4-track and br, I hesitated, but the holidays coming ... I started in the boss. Why? I use it for four months. I use it for home studio recording my songs.
Before I used my pc with software adapted but I found it too "gas factory". The micro br greatly simplified my life because it contains everything I need to create my compositions.
Being able to create his arrangements of batteries from existing patterns is a real plus.
The microphone is very good. I do not use multi effects section as I plug the output of my amp directly emulated on the micro br. The realization of the compounds quietly without taking his head with vst software and makes it an excellent product.
It is certainly not easy to take control early because of the number of functions and therefore the limited number of key date, but after some time, the navigation becomes very intuitive.

My only regret is not having bought sooner.

I only use the programs submitted by the PC as Audacity etc.. but I'm not gifted in computer science and his general.
Initially I found a lot of quality in this recording: you can do many things, great choice of sounds, possibility of track by track, direct drive, internal microphone and so on. Sadly you really tweak for hours and even days I say! I do not have much time for that is at once the galley ... I'm recording one track does nothing, it is superimposed, or when I turn the PC is transcribed only one track (!) Any way I can not edit tracks on my PC (why I do not know not!) can not share with other musicians in my band, the sound directly with the internal mic for MP3 rehearsal 'is good but the result is that we hear nothing, c is too muffled and saturated. The unit I think is very good and reliable, we must be honest, but a more explicit instructions would be welcome. I'm too bad I would need a teacher to explain how the machine works ... I think buying an analog recorder that will be simpler!!

I use it for over 2 years and is the only model I tried, I had inquired a little competition, but the Micro Br was best to satisfy my requests in view of its musicians characteristics and its attractive price.

I find it really easy to use, it did not take me long to understand the principles of the machine was very "plug and play" for me. The features are absolutely brilliant, everything was at hand, distortions, some effect, a box mastering drum kits, a tuner, EQ, virtual tracks, a stereo input to retract the keyboard (it works for hell!) or a stereo microphone (which can be powered by the Micro Br, a microphone of good quality (I use it for acoustic guitars, recording "on the road" and as a dictaphone) really works very good!

All my compositions go through this little toy, I even recorded some of my concerts, rehearsals, ... I use it a lot! The amp models and effects are good enough to develop his ideas, the 4 tracks provided are sufficient and the price is really low!

I recommend it to any guitarist, singer (se), musician (not) who wants to offer a very good portable recorder, with great opportunities and great prizes! I remake that choice without any hesitation!

Yes I would buy it again. I take it everywhere with me to make demos or record ideas directly as MP3 files (very convenient).
