Nice connection, though, at the beginning by using an external microphone, it is easy to get wrong direction! In my case, I made a small mark with nail polish over the microphone.

With a 1GB card: it is the comfort! (Shame we can not use more, and finally at least in my case, I never managed, it seems that some have used a 2 GB ..)

If "digest" the manual: everything is going fairly well. But the small amount of function keys leads to a menu structure quite heavy at first. ID: functions that are used not every day can be difficult to find.

The effects are decent, but there is the real Boss pedals for that either!?
as to edit and store its own effects: a bit of a chore anyway.
One thing also, when creating a new "song", the effect must be set again.

Export to MP3 is a nice feature, but "capping" as => I use (for music) and I record the line output to wav (for dynamic).

Something that would be helpful: an app to read and edit directly on the computer files. Bro! (Frustrating pending)

I use my micro BR for almost a year for three purposes: 1) I chronicle for radio => it is as good as the material "official" and is usual in my pocket and unlike other! Coupled with a Sony stereo microphone (if you do not forget to feed it by selecting the external power supply on the menus of the Boss), the quality is quite satisfactory. 2) I record sound sequences (sound effects, etc..) To illustrate the work or media websites. Again portability is essential. 3) As a musician (guitarist & blues picking), the Micro BR offers me a very nice range of effects (although I prefer the "real" Boss pedals) and, above all, the possibility of very useful editing to develop. The cattle do not remain "forgotten" and it is still a respectable quality, learn from them the next day.

Weaknesses: Oh! batteries ... (I always have a supply with me), the menus a bit complex (on the other hand, given the size, there is no room for more buttons!), The drum machine (sorry there but it "sucks").

Finally, at this price point you have a workhorse and not so fragile that (I "crust" on assignment with => it still works!). The huge advantage: it can be permanently so without risking lumbago!
