I saw on another forum peremptory comment, saying the preamp IIP were much better than those of the Ares Mr. Somebody contradicts and he replied "I did not know ..." .dropoff window
Does someone actually found a significant difference or is it only logical deduction based on the price?
Otherwise, in the recording with the accordion, there is a second of silence when it stops. I find that the breath is very low but clearly audible electronic parasite. Do you know what it is due? The only time I had the opportunity to hear that, it was with poor quality microphones connections.
I currently use a microtrack with DPA 4060 and I am very happy with the results most of the time, but very calm atmosphere is not quite ideal.
