Published on 12/17/10 at 11:02I bought this recorder for my mother who sings in a choir, she unfortunately could not use it long because he emptied cells: very fast (3 to 4 days while turned off). However, following consultation of this site, I requested an exchange (no problem) and I noticed a huge difference on the measured consumption device off (in a ratio of 1 to 150 between the new and old model), the problem seems solved. So he's not lose the date during a battery change!
This is the first portable memory card that I use, but I had a MiniDisc recorder before. The difference is significant in terms of quality, I am amazed by the realism of the reproduction of recorded sound.
Ease of use is almost perfect, except for two specific points:
- If we just turn on the device or to complete a recording, press once to start the recording, on the other hand, if there is a break after listening to a song, must press twice (the first pressure mode will play). This can be confusing and can sometimes interrupt immediately start recording because it has been pressed twice instead of one. A true stop button would have been preferable.
- When you're not listening to or recording a song, it could disrupt the recording quality with the keys forward / backward.
The price / quality ratio seems excellent. I would definitely recommend this unit, I do not regret this purchase.
