Published on 05/05/12 at 02:27
Small pre-amp headphone equipped with a jack that plugs directly into the guitar, different setting: volume, tone, gain. It also has a headphone jack and an auxiliary input for plugging in an external device. One button on / off
Uses 2 x LR3 with a duration of approximately 20h, it is very light

UTILIZATION

use is very simple, it's like an amp.

SOUND QUALITY

In terms of sound, it's good ... provided to push the gain.
The Amplug off a very strong blast as soon as you turn the volume knob, so the only way to avoid this breath, this is to turn up the gain and turn down the volume ... the sudden it's almost impossible to play clean sound without the gain because you must mount the volume, so the breath.
This time it's a shame because the sound is interesting, it is pretty clear (as defined tones), not stifled. But if you play with the gain in depth, the overdrive is still very nice, it's just a shame for this breath, it wastes frankly the pleasure of playing in clean sound.
I want to say that this detail is not scouring the Amplug vox, because it does not exist on the Twin and the Night Train, which I think is excellent (if that can help you in your choice)
So because of that breath, I'd say Amplug is correct, but no more, compared to other much better.

OVERALL OPINION

I took him to play without an amp, and plug the end of the pedal board, like an amp when I had none. I found better since, but the sound is nice in overdrive, it's interesting, but it's too bad we can hardly use it because of its clear breath volume ... Vox would have to redo the better!
