It is a 5 watt amp transistors, size "mini amp." It has the characteristic split in two to store the jack inside (there is even a small hook to not he walk). You can also play the sound that way.
Connections very simple: a guitar input, an output "preamp out" to connect a console or recorder ... and that's it. In terms of settings, it is also difficult to make simple: there is only one volume knob / gain. No master, no EQ, and of course no effect.
The amp runs on 4 batteries or an AC adapter ... not supplied.
In short, this amp lacks everything we usually consider as essential to an amp ... but his concept, so I can put him as 10. Ok, 9 for adapter not included.
UTILIZATION

On the amp, there is the sound by varying the volume (which is also fast enough to saturate the amplifier) and the opening of the "box" when you open it you have less bass and more treble.

Nothing dramatic but sometimes annoying.
SOUNDS
As I said, a fairly wide variety of sounds is possible. Of course it is very relative: the grain of the amp remains the same. And they're not: the point (very) strong this amp.
Squier Telecaster Custom with my P90 and the sound is excellent, very Blues-Rock and dynamic. Requires only the clear favorite to become dirty mediator at will, and the crunch is very much alive and "rough". At bottom, the sound becomes downright fuzzy grain without losing the characteristic of the amplifier. With my ES 335 copy on the other hand is less well: its humbuckers, yet very powerful, give one side a very "thick" (it's not clear, but I do not know how to explain it better) at sound, which does not please me too. We should try with higher-end mics, but it seems that in general, the double is not the cup of tea of this amp.
On the other hand, the receiver accepts pedals very well, especially the overdrive.

OVERALL OPINION
I use this amp for several months, in addition to my main amp (Vox AD30VT).
