Published on 06/08/02 at 12:37
-Polyphony: 8 voice
-Converters: 12 bits (sampling) and 16bit (processing)
-Sampling frequency: 7.5 kHz to 48kHz
-No effect
List of 750kb to 2250kb (or 2.250 Mb)
-Connection:
Audio: Mono mix, left, right and 8 assignable outputs
MIDI In, Out and Through
RS232
-Production year: 1988 to 1993 (my grade is related) I
UTILIZATION
utlise as a "SUPER" expander drum and bass for a few loops. Management multitimbral mode is quite special and unique to Akai! This machine is easy to operate, because there are not too many parameters to manage in terms of publishing. The algorithm (a little dirty, or even dirty) time-stretching offers incredible opportunities for experimentation! The CONVERTER
SOUNDS
are not transparent (a "bit" cold) and the filter characteristic, but what dynamics. But that's why we love it! This machine
