For technical specifications see data sheet on AF.
For sound: it depends on what you put in, you put the m **** it you out of the m ****, you put gold, it appears with many carats for ... be a little more serious this is a sampler then everything depends on the quality of the sample cavity. as regards registration of samples directly on the machine, the input line, the quality is good. The samples can be edited, cut, copy, paste etc. ... for sound editing, high-pass and low dual-band, LFO, ADSR and LFO on the amp is available filters, the receiver can samples and so on ... there are some effects that I have not really tested: there is the master compressor and equalizer, and that's all. there can be no more than two effects on the slopes, but to overcome it there are four output mono or two stereo or two mono and stereo, in addition to the double master outputs. The sequencer is very complete: 64 tracks I think, there is plenty to do.

UTILIZATION

I must say it's been 7 years since I am in cubase over a month tamper Live8, damn it feels good this machine. I breathe again, it is freedom. I spend my time playing and I do not see the time passing. I wonder quarter hours and three hours after I'm still so it's huge. It is much more limited along Cubase at opportunities but it has nothing to so if in fact it is much better. it takes a little getting used to, especially if like me you discover this kind of gear, but the learning curve is fast and you can have fun almost immediately so it is simple and well done. I bought the jjos 2 so I think I can say nothing about the bones akai but dd is very well thought out with plenty of shortcuts found rather well, everything was at hand and once the beat compound is spend hours playing with the mute pads and next sequences. everything is super fun, it's a very well thought out machines and I have only one regret, having discovered it so late when it's been 20 years since I play the music ..... we sample a sound, which is assigned to a pad on ^ pitch, filter and plays directly ca you like it? You also recorded dry, you added a track, then another and another, it's as simple as that, you screw bah it's nothing like you erased you want a note, sentences, the same note in whole sentence ... is not it great that? 2 and while dry.
The akai manual is well done and served me quite oddly when I'm in bone dd manual but it is in English and is an indecipherable crap written by someone who is probably not English. So I preferred to initiate the usual functions are referring me that document akai and that's enough to start. Now I'm starting to better understand the machine I started to open the manual jjos and I understand better but it really is not very clear ... but fortunately the machine is fucking her and that's what counts ...

SOUNDS

As stated above, the sounds are those that you put inside the blow, if you're not too stupid, you put the sounds that you love and you make you happy ...
The expression is terrible even if the pads are a bit hard and sometimes it takes bouriner ... it explodes. is a way to have fun with aftertouch is terrible: I sampled my guittare and a bit of a filter, a small adjustment on the ADSR, a little aftertouch and v'la me with a harmonica .. . suddenly I sample everything in my studio guitar, piano, percussion, voice, microkorg, balafon ..... you can even your sampler vsti if you ca .... you can sing entire sample loops a trigger with a single pad while you play your beat, you can play with the parameters of WaG, the Panoramic vie, volume etc ... with 2 faders and record the movements of the faders at the same time ... you can controler 2 other synth gear type BAR, sequencer via the two input / output noon, it is rather full.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for one month and a half ago and I will not open for cubase draw some samples with which I will play directly on my little mpc. This machine is a marvel, I am madly, this is the best purchase I have ever made. I tried the tempest for two hours and about the same as a spark but it has nothing even. the spark seemed to be rather foide and then has nothing even. it depends on a computer and does not offer much further and possibilities that a mpc. The tempest is something else, if I had the money I'll probably bought first, but I would have gone next to the mpc and ca will have been a shame. Now that I have, I realize that I already have a lot of trouble to separate myself. I sold a 300 rc and wave drum to buy mpc and I have no regrets (with the money I have left I'll buy a morpho ....)
As I am a multi-instrumentalist I first turned to the 300 rc that seemed to do the trick to play alone or several. but it is very limited when I ^ me rc 300 even if it is a different use (although the MPC also has a looping function, but I have not yet tested). and it must be EXTREMELY square square otherwise it is yucky and it's quickly become unmanageable. more must "mix" before decision because after everything is on a single track (or three) and you can not touch anything. while on the mpc, you can go back, mix each track separately and each pad independently from one another on a same program plus the ability to put a filter on each pad, plus everything else described above, brief There's no picture if it was a day refair I resell my rc 300 and my Wavedrum, or even, I do not even buy them and I throw myself on a mpc.
What I like most is that there are lots of way to use it is like you want:
Be you throw loops already all formers and you play by dessu, thou titures a little, thou chained, mixtures ... or you built your loops live, and as a measure, one after the other , instrument after instrument you play with etc. ....
Either you're happy press play and you put a sequence read while you take your grat or your percussion to your solo, you throw your pmc foot with pedal and saves you pedal with the 2nd ... for example and this is parameterizable is super full, almost as Cubase and it's real, hard, a real instrument with which one gets off to compose and play.
As for those who say that this is a machine for hip hop I say this is a machine that you want, do you do what you like it because it makes you sound you want, even charles aznavour you can ....
It's well worth the price I paid, especially when you see the number of possibilities of the device relative to the rc 300 or just full of other machines this rate as the electribe I tested and also sounds really bad but still very limited compared to the mpc. You understand that I love and that I will go and do it full of small pieces ..... ...
