Comprehensive connectivity: 6 audio output, SPDIF, USB. Regarding the sounds, it's Roland with virtualization technology found on analog JP-8000 series. Good effects section, with also a virtual guitar amp (COSM). I use it mainly to play samples live, and again, the machine fully meets my expectations. For many years I used a computer for live samples, with all the risks it represents. Now, no more worries.

UTILIZATION

The manual is not clear, but the machine is sufficiently user-friendly.

SOUNDS

I use virtually the part samples. The few sounds of the beast that I use, however well suited to my type of music (metal industrial). A downside, however: the additional sound banks in the SR-X series that can be added are still outdated today.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for over 3 years and no regrets!
