Hello, I need help with the "ABC's" of MIDI & Music Notation software.

1. After being a Musician for nearly 20 years, I've decided that I want to start using MIDI Music Notation Software. I am so behind. I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START!

2. My goal is to buy or download a solid(MIDI)software program which involves a Music Note Staff with Treble and Bass Clef that can place the notes on the clef as I play them.

3. I also need to know what hardware to buy. My Keyboards have the regular MIDI jacks. Do I need a device which will convert MIDI to USB?

thanks for reading my ad

Can someone make a reccomendation for me?

Apple's Logic Software has that capability.
