On a Mandrake 10.0, the c'tait galre. If I was not working in IT, I would never be able to install this software. As for windows, now it is finally simple to version 2.6. If you russisez make it work, does not crack too easily for the new version, because the programming language scores varies from one version to another!

The manual is well done but still handmade, and on the web, it lacks hyperlinks and search engine.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Lilypond does ncessite no power, but a ncessite Linux. On windows, the intallation and use are fairly plied. And it is not advisable to use it but in the end even when it works.
Trs musical rendering is rough and heavy, because frankly it was not possible to n'acouter part of the song.
It is nice to see that this software produces PDF that can send mail easily, the diffrence of its competitor.

Its performance in terms of burning are the best you can find. But the tribute pay is high, we must renounce the mouse, because you have to program their scores with the keyboard. Therefore, it is impossible to use without reading the manual.

OVERALL OPINION

Lilypond is free license (GNU prcis to be), so it is free. As it is the only in this case and that the quality of his writing is almost irrrochable, we can judge him off COMPTITE.

However, it is that there is no dplorer and there probably never using graphic and "user-friendly" to write his scores ingnieurie because this product is really quirky.

But we must pay tribute to dveloppeurs who attacked the problem only for the glory and joy of programming. Ones, it seems are not even mlusiciens. Straw!
