Value For Money :
Excellent
Installation is very easy in snow leopard. The config is not more complicated than previous versions. Very little inconsistency or plant. The manual is very clear and complete.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Macbook - Snow Leopard. Onboard Sound or RME Fireface 800. The performances are excellent. Very good stability. I use Sibelius
OVERALL OPINION
since version 3. I am a musician and teacher. There are times when I use it very much. Preparation of a rehearsal, re-arrangement, preparation courses, workshops, orchestra.
Request that there be a word processor? Facilitate handling + results in printing and export + templates to go faster and can create his own. Sibelius does it all for music.
What I like most:
+ Quick results: a clear layout
+ All functions on the keyboard + numeric keypad (very convenient transportation, hotel etc. ...)
+ Usability: we have everything on hand.
+ The ability to customize the commands, shortcuts, agreements, instruments etc. ...
+ Assistance in the preparation of courses (in English, but huge collection of documents)
What I like least
-The seizure flexitime mode (the keyboard or the keypad: the results are very average)
"He lacks the ability to enter the music on the keyboard while typing the pulse (on a note pad, a pedal) that would go fast when there are only rounds to play and slow down when with a more complicated.
-The inability to export to other format picture or sound. No opportunity to interact with Guitar Pro or Final ...
-The functions related to sound. This is an excellent word processor. The reading is zero and so little life ...
Judgement value for money: excellent. It is a professional tool. It costs money to develop ...
In all honesty I use it on a machine that is installed Finale and Sibelius. The ergonomics of Sibelius suits me much better. The results are comparable despite differences in policies.
