«  Very good value for money. »

Value For Money : Excellent
Made in Korea in 2002
Bridge / bridge tune-o-matic.
22 frets, 2 humbuckers.
2 volume, 2 tone
Mechanics are correct for a guitar of this range, but I've changed by Grover 18:1 (a little bit of forest will be necessary to adjust the hole in the head).
I also put strap locks.
I redid the electronics also because a Knob began to sputter (it took 8 years so good for something made in our time ... we will tolerate)

UTILIZATION

Channel enjoyable to play, a bit thick for my taste.
Big problem of balance (the handle is heavier than the body, once she has a tendency to fall head ...) so it takes a little "keep his head" but hey, we made it.
Access to acute relatively easy (but I use it too) ...
The sound is that of an SG, what about the other. If there's no group / guitarist whom you immediately think when you said SG is that it lacks a foundation in your rock and roll culture (personally I like moderately AC / DC, but c is not a reason you MUST think about it).
Then, mine being Korean, I never tested the range above (the real gibson) or the one below (the Chinese to 250 € new)

SOUNDS

Personally, I've given Si (so-mi-fa-la-re-si #) to play stoner rock. I use the neck pickup almost exclusively, with the tone Knob to 2 or 3 not more. Sometimes I use the microphone without acute disto, it comes out a sound place to make nice arpeggio but that's not what I prefer. Then pedal level, just a Boss SD-1, all on a Marshall JMP 100W and it leaves you sound very fat as it takes to make transitions between psychedelic riff.

OVERALL OPINION

I did last year.
I played mainly on a stratovolcano, therefore enormous sound level change and how to play. We like it or not.
What I love most: the look, the simplicity of the object, no bridge to the c ** as the fender, all electronically accessible by removing 4 screws (no need to remove the strings .. .). When I say it's easy to say: this is two piece of wood glued together, a few holes in the wood to attach ropes as simply as possible, 2 microphones, a coat of mail and basta. Basically, we feel that it can not let you go on a whim.
On occasion you can find Korean for a pittance, then go ahead!
