I bought this guitar on ebay for $400 in october 2003, it is a used 1996 SG Special. This is my first electric guitar and i choose it because of its looks and Gibsons great reputation.

There are many things that this guitar does well. It is very light and easy to play with no strain on the back while standing up. It has an amaizing sound provided by the two humbuckers. You can controll the exact sound by selecting either the bridge or neck pickup or both and each pick up has its own seperate volume and tone controlls. You could play probably any style of music you desired on this guitar. One of the nicest things about this guitar is the style. The double cut-away body that looks like devil horns certanly says rock.

The is not much to not like about this guitar, im going to have to think about this for a minute... The only thing i can think of is that it does not have a tremilo.

All I have to say about the construction and quality about this guitar is that its a Gibson. Your good to it itll be good to you untill the world ends.

The bottom line is its a Gibson: it sounds great, it has great featurs, it looks awsome and its quality.
