Best value: Excellent
Mine is 2006, black, set neck, black hardware, microphones chrome black hoods.
The fully respects the original form and the profile of the handle the original model 61, surprising.
The price was about 250euros, upscale tenson apparently.

Attention, as there is no explicit nomenclature is difficult to get an idea from the one you want.
I saw two others, such as mine, but with very large differences in weight.
The finish on the neck and frets, definitely good, however, is constant.
Ditto for electronics, but not rotten little to do much better. The lifts are thrown I think.

Difficult to indicate a note given the approximation of names, but in view of achieving violin for the price I put 8.

UTILIZATION

Channel nickel, ergonomics but unsurprisingly it is already heavy on less cool.

For the sound I do not know too because I immediately put other pickups I had in a box (it was intended for that matter) but tenson les paul in the same range on a 1990 sounded bugera no worse than a les paul studio original. Like what a modest guitar on a good amp will always sound better than a guitar amp on a modest ...

This is also my point, a violin sound more microphones correct (the shadow to 45 euros) will wreak havoc with a good amp. Currently it is cheap thanks to the techniques of producing a precision unimaginable just 20 years ago, take advantage of it.

SOUNDS

At this price this guitar is good support for other microphones of your choice.

The sound issued refund the acoustic qualities of the guitar though, and mine sounds like an sg, namely transparent with a good dose of acidity and sustain. Not bad at all.
If it is heavier, it is more fatty acid and less well understood.

As the woods used are very difficult variable to predict the sound it will have.

OVERALL OPINION

It was used extensively (I've given to a group of naked while spinning) and it has not budged despite the inevitable variety of donuts and abuse. The varnish is very thin, and the back of the neck has morflé, not his fault huh.

Interestingly, the handle is reinforced in the head, which explains its strength in use, the original would do well to be inspired ...
In short, you will be able to tracking down a good price because of low brand awareness, and make it a beast racing at low cost (microphones and mechanical) and will keep the distance.
But try it absolutely, mail is already in general lottery but there is the chance given the complete lack of nomenclature ...

I am very happy with this tenson sg (I mounted pickups Ibanez Infinity 3 and 4) which holds up and sounds great, over the head is much less ugly than epiphone Yuck how horrible those here ...

I put 8, in view of different tenson tried the handle and the violin were always very correct.
