«  Effective, engaging, versatile and indestructible »

I own the first version, blue carpet.
Hybrid Amplification (one 12AX7 tube in preamp, active on all channels).
Connectivity ultra-complete (mine was also equipped with a MIDI module!)
3 channels, 2 modes of lead, adjustable-rate parallel loop, all there!
100 watts into 8 ohms (120 watts into 4 ohms).
The HP is a Celestion Vintage Rockdriver makes the job very well

UTILIZATION

Very traditional setup, one is immediately at home!

SOUNDS

This is an extremely versatile amp that will sound crystal clear to its metal through the crunchy blues, the saturation in the English rock, hard ... All with maximum flexibility (Bracket 3 buttons, effects loop footswitch, MIDI module optional ...)
Only minor complaint to him, looking good: his clear, although friendly, is a little soft in the attack and lack of fullness, especially with single coils.
The lead channel, it is really excellent (I use it primarily on one mode, which sounds british, the method by two more in the American metal).
But this amp really gives an excellent impression. Better than my Peavey Classic 20 above, however much I loved ...
There is clearly a freelance number of combos "all lamps".
Sound level, he astonished all who heard it ringing, and all my friends have faded while owners of Marshall Valvestate (the perennial 8080 ...)
In short, it's all good, it is easy to implement ... very practical.

OVERALL OPINION

I have this amp for 14 years.
I bought it to replace my Peavey Classic 20, which lacked power for group play. So I spent all lamps hybrid, yet having the feeling to go upmarket!
Since then I have had other amps just lamps, but I did not separate from the good old Attax. Very convenient to play at home (it sounds very good at very low volume) or to carry on the road to go out without a beef and all the 4x12 heavy artillery.
What's more, it is literally indestructible! Heavy but indestructible. Since that time, not the slightest glitch, not a single knob that crachouille ...
This is an amp that I would not hesitate one second to recommend warmly on the marchbé OCCAZ! The real good transo (well, hybrid if you will) like you have never more ...
