I tried this amp again in a rather loud volume ....
We will do for short features, 100 Watts amp (hum hum ..) transistor, 2 channels light / crunch, OD1 / OD2. 4 built-in effects no top at all apart from the reverb not too bad, all you need to not annoy the neighbors (headphone, line out, effects loop, etc. ..)
the buttons on the front are nice but overall are not much (at least its most garish, distortion more or less messy .... that's it ..)
HP 12 'frankly cheap in sound reproduction.
otherwise, look pretty good issue, but what is it for a good sound?

UTILIZATION

To the first question, namely, the config is it simple, I say yes to who has an IQ above 12!

To the second question, "we get a good sound easy?" I would say it is almost impossible to get a good sound!
not a fan of screaming marshall, I develop the next chapter.

The third issue of the manual, I know, it was not in the studio ...

SOUNDS

Let me be clear, I do not know if he has not agreed a particular style. I owned a MG30 in the past until something better, and what can happen with a 30W transo used to play with or without ambition of their particular spend a lot less with a so-called 100 W repeats oriented rather see little gig in bars.
I played on this thing with my 57 classic Riviera mounted and it was the horror ...
its a draft, a feedback greater than what can cause my JTM30 a volume equal a poor sound diffusion, very right (big if you put on the side of the receiver seems more dull sound) and this again and again Feedback huge (and that's all he even has a huge ....) m 3 forcing me to mute the sound between the tracks.
the distortion is barely audible a slurry, the light is ok, a little slam and not too ugly but very cold and not very musical.
This was true with the rest of the MG 30 with 100W, the FDD circuit is a selling point, do not expect this approach would sound a little light, it really has nothing to do . those who tell you otherwise are either seller or have never played on a tube amp in their lives.

OVERALL OPINION

As you can see, I is definitely not like this amp. anyone who has played once in his life on a marshall transistor even at 15/20 years ago knows what I mean.
the old Valvestate series although not extraordinary, but consistent, giving more, and it is not even comparable to the old 5275 series or the master of the 80's that lead them sounded really no course marshall meet the sound of their big brothers lamp, but the fat british rock'n'roll spirit was there.
So if I have an advice for a young Scrooge who dreams of English legend but can not afford to invest in a JVM, if the budget is € 350 (price of that thing nine! ! yeah anyway! ...) he eyeing an opportunity to (a VS 100 to cost a hundred dollars, a 200/250 in 5275 but was finding harder ..)
€ 350 and then in time, you can access easily to all-tube 30W and there you really underfoot noise level power and heat ...
short, no sound, after all, average power, a low HP, it's expensive paid the logo of a legend on the front .....
