-Analog
-Preampli Microphones / DI 2 channel
selection of ohm impedance 1200/300
phase inverter
+ 48Volt phantom power
channel stacking switch 1 & 2
-2IN / 2OUT 3Pin XLR and XLR 5pin power
-1 + Rack unit of a power box (PSU1)
USE
The grip is very easy for cons I would make a small complaint:
This preamp is super effective when they type in, plus it has a gain of + 75db therefore there is necessarily the reserve and can quickly be tent to go there, just there s nothing other than your ears to tell you that he may be a bit too in the process of sweating, so really would cool t Chandler put a small internal saturation witness just to say "hey careful you'll burn everything"
the manual says nothing about what the machine cash, it has just two examples of three settings according to the color desired, Chandler gives no information on their site, no technical data sheet I find a shame.
SOUND QUALITY
For microphones not really care answers the needs of different sources for the line I use a box that converted me an impedance line impedance mic, with or without a walk but there all on a relatively large THD which can quickly limit the applications, so that with this case dedant we return as if it was the microphone and thus coloring is more possibility.
sound and very transparent if we attack preamp normally on the other hand if we start down the release knob and fit that of the then between .....
warm front !!!!!!!!!
coloring becomes very present is c is huge !!!!!
very hot and electric "I love haaaaaaa !!!"
NOTICE GLOBAL
I used the depuit 6 months,
I think its wonderful grain both heavy and ar by against a shame that there is no witness ny saturation between, another downside of the switch and ass summation of the machine so when c is rack there is not very accessible.
I was able to compare a DMP vintage design, 1073 and other preamplies this range and my preference is really on the TG-2, I find that there is the same color but with a stronger bottom of the spectrum and a strong and better defines the possibility of having more grain than other models.
this machine is not to give is on but the quality has a price.
without any hesitation I would do this choice j espere same power achetter of other time (Drums that make a preamp with Chandler Hum ... the dream !!!!!)
