I post just a small raction / correction notice of APRS mbp06:
The finish of the pickguard which poses problem is the plastic that can be removed from the pickguard for storing and transporting the guitar before it is sold. It prvu to be removed to the Owner 'the happy days of the purchase ends up with a brand new pickguard, no scratches. It's the same on the new plupoart guitars. (On door grips mtaliques cars too - sometimes a R21 crosses a 10 or 15 who still has the blue plastic films proctection!

The V-neck then a does not mean that it is strait and wider at the nut in the treble. The strata gnral (and Clapton is one of them) are 42 mm wide at nut and width in the acute and fixed the width of the "pocket" of the body and attaches the handle and do never change.
