a strat fabiquée mexico within the standard strats: 22 frets, 5 position selector, alder ... more small, micro and handle the body is "Custom Shop Designed".
That reference, which in itself does not seem to mean much change quite a difference. the pickups have a sound body has a look "vintage" (without damage, however, as the road worn) and the handle has a small radius like the old stratocaster models. Only vintage stuff too: the bridge who is equipped with two attachment points, as newer models.
UTILIZATION
it is a START: weight average, quite suitable. A nice round, a bit special if you have the habit of Ibanez and other modern equipment to handle super flat, radius makes other sensations. In this connection attention to bends in the latest high notes, again because of the radius that touches the frets, but no real major embarrassment.
SOUNDS
I'll just tell my encounter with this instrument. One fine morning I'm looking for an instrument with the intention to go buy a Start. I had the budget for a highway, which monopolized my attention. Choose a stratum is the result of a long process of fitting, there can there be much difference from one to another. I wanted an American. And then I came across this mex "Custom Shop Designed" and there he no longer had any doubt! the highway are super cheap next to the Mexican. This guitar has a soul, she sings, she has a trick. The sounds are well marked, well-neck micro round and velvety, a middle and a bridge slammed super loud. Besides about this micro bridge, I did not like at first, being transcandé by two other microphones. But in the end it sounds slightly overdrive the fire god!! My little advice, the plugguez in a vox AC30 is really something!
OVERALL OPINION
Taking into account that this is a Mexican, there is something to be glowing. While it costs a tad more expensive than a normal Mex, but it is much better than the highway or certain standards. As I said we must try. It has been nearly four years that I have, and I did not even want to change to an American. (Good if I had the budget I would go see the side TFW reprints or custom shop ^ ^).
What I like most is of course the sound. Good to Start, with all that that implies.
Without wishing to troll or anything, I heard that this model was destined to become one of Mexico's claim.
Anyway, so today I had to get a Start with less than 1200 euros, well I'd take this one. In addition it is worth between 600 and
750th!
