« Fender Super Strat »
Published on 09/10/06 at 15:00I am 36 year old from Indiana. I have been playing in bands as a second job since age 13 as a drummer, guitarist and bassist. I currently keep busy as a guitarist in a local blues band, as a drummer in a local rock band and as drummer, guitarist and bassist in my church's praise band. I am a fan of great music regardless of the label affixed to it, but some of favoites and influences include SRV,Clapton,Joe Bonamassa,Robben Ford,Hendrix,Pre-Eliminator ZZ Top,Los Lonely Boys,Merle Haggard,Freddie King,Carter Beauford,Robin Trower and about 500 more people that I will not be able to include in the interest of space.
I traded 2 Squier Strats for it.
The 3-color sunburst finish is gorgeous and is really complimented nicely by the gold hardware and tortoise-shell pickguard.
The sound is classic sweet Strat all the way. Just what I was after.
Very nice neck and great fit and finish.
The only complaint I have is that this thing weighs just under a ton.
See above. A beautiful instrument, particularly in light of it's low retail price.
I would buy another of these in a heartbeat, but I need a LP first.
