Lamien is 2006 Indonesian weathered black finish, that is to say, as the worn (ebony, yellow, brown, cherry) Gibson home. Very raw, very soft, a treat without t-shirt.

Attention to the wiring microphones, is far more sophisticated than anywhere else: we have 1) the double handle alone, en2) but the same microphone with the coils in parallel or at the Start, EN3) both doubles, in the Gibson in 4) the two coils inside the two microphones is funky to the stratum in 5) double bridge alone.
This is extremely intelligent, no parasites, intuitive and USABLE.
Mechanical ok, nothing to do all night.
UTILIZATION
You learned on a classical guitar Klonk? Then the wizard neck is for you!
If not go your way, experiment with friends. I love it.
Near-perfect ergonomics, reasonable weight, tone knob useless since there is not too much treble / brightness ...
Good sound anyway, but for the group that pass through the mix.
SOUNDS
I installed these pickups on a SG and I can attest that they are very good in frequency punch and definition.
But on the RG is not terrible, the signal is drowned by the violin. Handle all maple would be perfect, like RG550DX.
I installed the pickups of my late SZ520qm Ibanez, and it's really all there is another guitar now. These microphones SZ were also too bright / clear the SZ (which is built like a les paul mahogany table maple set neck) ...
But good home is not bad on a small amp like marshall or medium screaming Valve Junior (there are those who love, know why but hey ...).
I think the DiMarzio PAF Pro are better for RG 321, in my Apex2 which is very similar construction and is equipped with the paf pro.
Both RG, the apex2 and 321, are made of mahogany, not linden / basswood as usual, which makes exceptions in the range Ibanez, especially since they are not through-tremolo and string.
OVERALL OPINION
A year and a half, the guitar is ideal for work (there is nothing that hinders or hurts) both sitting and standing. Channel based, which questions the respondent speed licks ...
For fun I set up simple Kinman, well not the violin takes over, not only had not Start the foil but also I lost the warmth and plum. Finally, curiosity koa.
Good resale value, good violin, electronics-free competition, finishing properly good, great price: only throw away is a good plan.
