Published on 01/16/11 at 00:28So here is the part we manufacture this guitar out of Korea, I must say I was a tank can finish on the guitar before buying it but I can tell you that I turned in all directions and I have not found much to criticize about this point, besides traces of glue in the fucked-up system.
It is a team Original Floyd (I had sworn to buy more guitar with Floyd) and I must say I took my walk with him because no problem with the view of the agreement, a good Floyd's response to its fleet not touched any of the bar, very accurate. The neck has 24 frets, it is a modern type of relatively thin and flat, very fast, very nice.
The pickups are Seymour Duncan humbucker splittable singles beautiful effect with their hoods very nice, a three position switch to switch on one or the other and the mix of both, giving us no less than six different sounds greasy Split microphones.
UTILIZATION
Level of use above all else I changed my original strings it seems to me by 10/46 of 12/52 with a tune in D is a whole tone below. After a proper adjustment of the guitar (neck, floyd, harmonics, string action ...) I started. Then is the bomb, the neck is really fast the grip is excellent, the disjointed sound much easier to achieve than on my Gibson SG, when playing the guitar stand is well balanced, no need for the support with the left hand while playing (like a certain guitar-shaped SG in ESP which costs twice anyway). The weight (well grounded) is very low fat to the use of lime.
Access to the treble is a formality, a breeze (something I look for in a guitar because very accustomed to the comfort of the SG.
SOUNDS
Regarding my style, I wanted a guitar to mostly metal fast and technical, the contract is completely filled, I was looking for a powerful and accurate bass saturation, plugged into a head PowerBall ENGL is home of the pure killing, but I soon realized the potential of this guitar clean sound very interested in, the humbucker is doing very well and being able to single splitter that allows us to closer to the Fender sound, this guitar is super versatile, micro are good and warm, incisive in its big for the bridge pickup (BD 6) (nothing to do with active EMG).
The sound is very clean in the treble solos stand out beautifully.
Anyway sounds rich and varied, one who is looking for a versatile guitar go ahead. I have
OVERALL OPINION
last night (I have not let go of the night) I notice already widely used in shops as it hit me in the eye for a while.
I tried many other guitars like Ibanez or ESP LTD Jackson through but for this price range is well above. I would say the strength of this guitar is its diverse and varied sounds, weight, comfort handle more than a floyd good.
The value for money is very good because in a range from 800 € to its other brands dropped for me.
I REFERRED that choice without hesitation.
