I bought this guitar (as a first electric) in a package at a local music store. I paid $277.86 (I paid ten dollars extra for the sunburst) for the package (including an amp, case, & cord, but this review is just for the guitar).

I really like my guitars finish, I got one in sunburst and I could look at it all day (I'd rather play it though). I really like the huuuummmbuck'n pickup on it. Another thing I like is that how the jack is like a les paul stlye, not like the fender. I like everything about this guitar.

The only thing I don't like is, wait... I can't think of anything not to like.

The construction is awesome the quality is great. No flaws... noooo flaws.

This is perfect for someone to learn on. I have played guitar for five years as an ametuer, this guitar gets my vote. That's all I have to say about that.

I purchased this guitar as my first guitar at a local music store. It was a Labor Day sale so the guitar was only $140. I great deal.

I love the precision and versitilty of the unit. Precise tuning is important when playing certain songs. But the versitily is where this guitar really stands out. You really can play anything with it. And have fun with it too!

I'm very happy with the unit except for the fact that it goes out of tune a bit too often for many musician's taste.

It's a beautiful guitar and has served me well for almost a year. "tune-ups" and things are a given, but if you take care of your raptor, your raptor will take good care of you.

The perfect beginner's guitar. Not too flashy with over the top abilities but a good solid musical instrument. peace out!

I got the Raptor Plus at Tringas Music for about 170 bucks. I got it as a beginning guitar to see if i was into playing or not. Lucky for me i was and now I wanted to review it.

The slidings alright and the action is super low, which is always good for hammering and such.

The three strat style coils arent too great unfortunately. The sounds get super fuzzy when you get up to the higher frets namely 20-22. Tuning takes a crap of a long time unless its super minor adjustments (which is usually the case). and the tremelo bar makes your strings go outta tune after a while....but its withstandable enough to use the tremelo for a couple days without tuning.

well the contruction and quality is kinda shotty but it is a beginning guitar so it isnt expected to be built to the calibur of a les paul. I mean after all you dont give a sixteen year old the keys to a new BMW.

It worked out great for me as a first electric guitar. Its coils arent the best but they work and are fairly decent. All in all a nice starting point for you future "Kirk Hammet"s for not so bad a price.

Brand United States but probably made in Asie.Pas of surprise is a clone of the strato except that the bridge pickup is a double.Manche maple with rosewood fingerboard. Alder body, 3 pieces.

UTILIZATION

Handle very nice, easy access to acute as on a Start. Lightweight and versatile guitar.

SOUNDS

Made for rock and blues at the lens "that mind-blowing" with double fat. Warm sounds with a quality above average in this price range.
We feel the experience and the experience of Peavey.
I was pleasantly surprised because it does not sound without the usual personality and drooling is often heard in the entry level.

OVERALL OPINION

So an interesting guitar does not only beginners, like his ancestor the Predator, with a value price Peavey ie GOOD!

Stratocaster copy. Pallisandre keys, 2 singles and a double microphones that make it versatile.

UTILIZATION

Good point I find the handle very nice, I must say that it is relatively thin and with a low action I find it quite to my taste. The access to the highs is easy (as a strat what). This gives a fairly wide range of sounds thanks to the single and double pickups with 5 position selector.

SOUNDS

I find the clean sounds good in position 1 and 2, the cool crunch in 4. After I never play with a lot of distortion, especially for double I like playing the blues. The simple to classic rock. I play with a small 10 watt amp in my small apartment, or headphones through a mutlieffets.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 6 months before I took up guitar as I pack out my beginner 10 years ago. Compared this guitar I was surprised, I aitrouvée much better finished and more playable than my old guitar. Compared to its competitors I enjoyed having a double, what we find only knew the Cort G210 in this price range (or so hard on a Squier). So I hesitated with Cort, but the budget was cut for me. If the new Cort is cheaper, as I found the Peavey OCCAZ of a mouthful of bread was quickly chosen. Even nine 150 euros it has a very good value for money. It's a perfect guitar for beginners but the advantage is that you can continue to progress with and we n'atteind not immediately limitations. It helps me discover what I like and know what I will choose pourlaremplacer guitar, but I never regret the time I spent with her.
