UTILIZATION

The highlight of this guitar is its playability!

The neck is super nice. All settings of the guitar are very easy to perform: run, vibrato, string action, harmonic and microphones. This is very important to me because it gives a guitar perfectly suited to his game and his style of music.

In short, a real treat!

SOUNDS

I play blues / rock / pop, so it is perfect for that. In addition, it is quite versatile.

I play on a Marshall MG amp 15CDR and the result is very good. I think soon add effects to expand the possibilities.

Specific sounds are good Fender style. You do not buy this guitar for metal anyway.

The pickups are okay. On this type of guitar is the weak point (as all guitars of this price range for that matter).

OVERALL OPINION

I repeat, we must consider this guitar with respect to its price (320 € in France and € 230 elsewhere ...).
And for once, the quality / price / pleasure is excellent!
I really recommend you, it takes a lot of fun with.

I use this guitar for about 8 months it was infact my first electric guitar, since I play many other instruments. I was the most preferred handle it really is not bad at all for good practice, and finally access to acute mieu are still after the thing that I least like ... the distortion is wrong at all to this guitar, me personally as big metaleu full of hair she did no more but after SOMEBODY for a little more funky or blues should prove éfficace.le raprot money, is not enthusiast mieux.et franchemetn with experience I will not go to either with the experience I will burn well, lies!

For me, it's a maple strat Candy Apple Red color.

UTILIZATION

The handle of this model is quite nice, soft and fine but slightly bigger than my other strats and a varnish with a little duller. I wanted a model with maple fingerboard for a small difference compared to my other strats that have the rosewood fingerboard. Exactly, the key is successful (in my case, I do not know the others) and is even more once it was cleaned with a suitable product or fast freight.

The shape is that of a stratum with a thickness still reduced compared to the real Fender and access to treble is like any other strata.
The weight is extremely low also because since there is less wood and that it is very sparse, and it must be said, of lower quality, you end up with a guitar really lightweight (especially with changes that I made, I talk about later) and very pleasant.

The microphones being installed fairly average, the sound is too shrill and strident, yet relatively quiet compared to others in these prices, but people being used as humbuckers or swearing by them pass their way. This guitar is not made for large saturations, obviously. But it can be pretty good according to what does or seeks, or for a beginner (as the original!).

I want to make a point of honor for the painting, I find, is very well done for a guitar of this price range! (Not the Candy Apple Red with gold glitter, no ... They are red. Lol)

About the wood used, I must say I was a little scared the famous "Agathis" which I have seen evil. Well, I was surprised! It looks like (more or less!) To alder but with slightly less accurate and much drier, very medium. With maple fingerboard, this guitar gives a very surly, but dries clear sound ideal for a little "vintage" and saturations.
For cons, I found that it reduced a little harmonics.

Just bought it, I took her to my luthier usual modifications. The most important point, I changed my microphone. Because I thought it was the biggest weakness of this guitar and I really wanted a model of precise micro suited to my game I also block the tremolo which I've been using forever. I found it quite good but as usual, it's too out of tune guitar, you lose the sustain, harmonics etc. ...
It was also resolved, as all guitars are not resolved before buying, especially entry-level models like this. I also changed the plate and with the microphone, there is now a single volume knob.
Result, a model approaching a lot of Fender signature model I really like and that suits me better in all aspects.
The guitar has a high output level, sound still as sharp, dry and supports much better overdrive.
It should now really my style of music and my tastes.
She still has that small overflow in mediums that do not bother me but chose well his or her microphone, you can really do something good.

OVERALL OPINION

My rating reflects the changes I made to my guitar.

I used when testing for several months as a secondary or tertiary guitar (lol) and I am very satisfied.
I wanted to customize a strat me bringing up a Tom DeLonge signature but with the maple fingerboard and not too ruin me, it's done.
Squier's are very good copies of Fender guitars and are best for beginners but are also an excellent base for those wanting to build a model without breaking the bank. This model is really small but its absence is the pickups, I think. Nothing too serious ...
The quality / price is very good. I recommend it without worry.
With experience, I would do without this choice problem. With more money, however, I would have taken a Mexican fat start approaching more of what I wanted to do.

I used this while practicing in a garage band not too long ago. It was made in Japan, had 3 pickups, all of the stock configuration, with a volume and tone nob. My friend who owned the guitar said that the neck was maple, but I believe he bought that new.

UTILIZATION

The neck on the guitar originally was alright, but at times, felt pliable and brittle. The last frets were easy to access due to the style of the body. The guitar is well balanced and was not overly heavy or awkward shaped at all. The sound was alright, but could use a little tweaking, maybe new strings or some new pick ups.

SOUNDS

This guitar is suited for pretty much any style of music, as it only a beginners guitar, and with the right effects, can sound a lot better. I played it through a 15 watt old Kustom guitar amp, but my friend uses a Fender amp, and it sounds far better through the Fender amp. I use a clean chorus and a distorted chorus primarily, but switch to phase shifter and flanger from time to time. My favorite thing about this guitar is the price, but my least favorite part is the stock hardware, as it is very cheap.

OVERALL OPINION

I have used for about 2 months, and my friends used his for a year. The price is really what got us, but the hardware is horrible, and the pickups are pretty lame, but will get you by. I played on an Ibanez and an Epiphone but bought this as a lugging around guitar, as I didn't want to damage the others. For the price, this is a good guitar, but there are better out there, like the Epiphone Les Pauls or the Ibanez RGX20's are also better than the Squier guitars. I would probably just spend my money on a better Epiphone over one of these.
