Guitar made in China. Ergonomics is a Stratocaster with a maple neck and alder body, which is exceptional for the price!
The handle is very nice, after adjusting the string height and change the original string ...
It's a cheap guitar (89 euros new + port € 27) so the finish is medium and cutting the pickguard is pretty gross!
That said for the price, the general appearance is very correct. The varnish on the neck is very pleasant to the touch.
UTILIZATION
The handle is very nice. The guitar is well balanced. The sound at idle is very beautiful. Et .. Once connected we are surprised by the power and rendering sound microphones. Especially the neck pickup that has a sound "texas blues" to die for.
So from my point of view, do not change the pickups.
SOUNDS
The highlight of this guitar.
OVERALL OPINION
SX is the 2nd guitar I have in hand (I have owned for some time SX Telecaster Thinline, also to the quality / price staggering!). On the Internet, this brand has earned a reputation among fans of copying "cheap" instruments prestigious. This reputation is largely justified. I think for the price it is hard to beat in terms of sound and playability of the course finishes are average. But if you get a chance, compare a stratovolcano with an SX or Squier Affinity vib classic and even the entry-level stratocumulus Mexican or guitars priced 2 times to 5 times more expensive than the SX, and well you'll see that the SX are buried in sound and playability! So make your choice.
