One piece alder body, flamed maple table.
Maple neck solid carbon rod.
Dimarzio Pickups HSH: PafPro - Fs1 - ToneZone
Floating tremolo with ball bearings.
Mechanical locking.
A beautiful finish, painting beautiful, gorgeous flamed table.
The knobs very flexible course crackles do not: D.
UTILIZATION
The handling is exceptional, the handle is molded into the real hand, the action is ultra low favoring fast games. Brief but happiness to the side.
Access to acute is perfect until the 22nd case, after it a little freestyle but still accessible.
The guitar is very heavy (thank you for us not being 90kilos guitarist).
The sounds and the sound balance is maintained between the microphones and you can get many shades after selection knobs.
Finally, the vibrato is a pleasure to use. More galleries when changing strings, tuning a very very stable, and a margin of frivolity certainly less impressive than a floyd, but well enough.
SOUNDS
The key word is: flexibility and definition, you can do anything with this Vigier, always keeping a clean and well defined.
The selection knob in the middle, and it went to a rhythmic funk.
Neck pickup, a well rounded, warm and powerful, but always accurate.
Side bridge, turn the distortion off and it went to the carpet. A full, rich sound with lots of attack just waiting to roar.
Brief hard, blues, shred through the most insane, you can really do it all thanks to this definition due to the extraordinary accuracy of the settings, the quality of the wood, and excellent microphones.
OVERALL OPINION
Bought new a 1950 euros (partner shop vigier), 1 month ago.
No regrets, we like more the guitar, discovering its qualities as you go.
I hesitated with Musicman which are also excellent guitars, but I preferred to trust Vigier for their innovative sleeve and fabulous and versatile sounds.
Basically I wanted an Ultra (Vigier always), but the active electronics was a bit scary and I think what would be less flexible and would not heat and grain dimarzios.
In short, a guitar that will follow me all my life.
