UTILIZATION
- The handle is really nice trèèèès! This is the highlight of the Pacifica. The boix is beautiful, sweet, it really plays with great ease. This is where we see that this is a beginners guitar because with experience, we will find ourselves a bit limited. I actually decided to sell this one to take me an LTD but I do not regret in any way the purchase of the Pacifica as the first skyscraper.
- Access to treble is fairly easy, there are only 22 frets and it easily goes up to the 19th. A good beginner guitar solo!
- Type Stratocaster, the Pacifica has a form could not be more classic, various colors (black I), it is simple but very pretty, she is light and pleasant again, just buy a good strap! ^ ^
SOUNDS
- It's a versatile guitar ("key-on" because it does not control any style to perfection), so perfectly made for beginners, you can play the good old Rock and Blues as the Metal and Punk or good even Reggae ... it is focused on any particular style. We can both play solos that good rhythm, this guitar, but not exceptional on specific issues, agrees to ALL (or almost)!
- The pickups are far from exceptional. Like all the guitars entry level. You can feel the difference with the humbucker that fits more with distorted sounds while simple are rather intended to sound clearer. A wind that keeps growing. I repeat myself but it is a "first" guitar. So, after all, the microphones are sufficient if there are changes in (microphone or guitar). And for that price should not ask for the moon!
- I was initially a Roland Cube 15W, amp classic limited. I later invested in a greenhouse at Zoom (606) and then you start to enjoy double the sounds of this guitar! Boss, Zoom or Digitech, choose your side in any case we strongly advise to buy one!
OVERALL OPINION
- I use this guitar for a year and a half soon, I love the handle anyway, I plan to change but so far for a first guitar, the Pacifica has seduced me like no other!
- It suited perfectly to the style I wanted as a first guitar (= flexible), I hesitated a bit with the Squier but I finally chose Yamaha.
- If I go back with experience, I would do this choice. It is important to have a versatile guitar, nice and easy for the first time.
- One of the best quality / price of entry-level (with the Squier no doubt), it is clear. For a little cheaper guitars you frankly pathetic.
- A skyscraper that is perfect for beginners to anyone as a first guitar.
- It's hard to part with them finally! ^ ^
