DiMarzio presents the DP 420 Virtual Solo hum-cancelling single coil pickup.
DiMarzio claims to have combined the best qualities of the Virtual Vintage Solo™ and Solo Pro™ – namely high output and a full, warm sound – and pushed these qualities even further. Treble response is said to be smoother and the lows tighter, and pick attack was also improved. Play hard, and the sound jumps out of the amp ; play softer, and the sound becomes cleaner and quieter.
The DP 420 VIrtual Solo is recommended in the bridge position. No MSRP announced.
