- How long have you use it?
4 years, they are mounted on a Fender Start 'US 1991.
- What is so special that you like most and least?
These pickups have that quality. While they agree for the blues, but also to styles as diverse as rock and jazz. Their strength is their grain and their sensitivity to touch the guitar.
- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
The pickups fender US standard, the gold lace sensor mounted on the fender or ultra texas special ... None of them can not stand the comparison. Here we find a great vintage sound, very 70's.
- How would you rate the quality / price?
Maybe the only "problem" would be the price of these pickups, which are still quite expensive and hard to find. I saw that guitar at Fred shares they could find ...
After all seen the quality of these microphones is logical to pay more than the fender or Di Marzio ...
- With experience, you do again this choice? ...
Yes without hesitation ... Sublime crunch, deep clean sounds ... My Start 'is not the same since I installed these pickups. It's rare that I hear of strat 'sound better than mine around me and I think that Van Zandt are for ququechose.
