To replace a Bose passed away, I decided to invest in a good headset for monitoring and listening.

I looked at the Ultrasound Pro 900.

On the one hand the product is high quality, comes with many accessories, the mini jack is screwed into the headphone which is a very good thing.

Since this headset is closed once the ears are really out of touch, finally I'm exaggerating, just means that surrounds us but it's really a very good point in that direction.

The value for money is good given the finishes and especially the sound!

And there I must admit that I was really pleasantly surprised, surprised by the first low, deep and well defined, sub-bass are the game and it is a treat!

The rest is as good, medium and treble are well developed.
In short, this headset is a killer and I am fully satisfied!

I rediscovered Angel by Massive Attack with!

Some told me about his process S-Logic, which provides a front stereo image, but I have not really thought it was obvious even if the field of stereo headphones are excellent!

I use this headset for 9 months for the composition / mix (20%) and listening (80%). My old headphone is a Philips HBC910 as far to say that I made the leap. Naturally, the PRO 900 outclasses even let up on the HBC910 both ways. Given the price difference is not surprising.

The manufacturing quality is the RDV, plastics inspiring confidence, 2 cords (1 + 1 twisted right) tip 3.5 jack screw on a headphone. Joints for folding and storage in appropriate box (most of south wind after a few tweaks my Tenori-on as it goes, two in one!), Very convenient! I travel a lot, I love it!

I had the opportunity to compare it with Sony headphones in the range of 150 € (sorry, I can not remember the ref. Qlq.chose MDR ...). Low PRO 900 are much more spare, identifiable, clear as those made by Sony, which seemed to be a mix between low and high frequencies. At medium, I should not have fine enough or the ear piece was not suitable. Regarding the acute, PRO 900 was clearer, more percussive. Across the spectrum PRO 900 seemed more detailed, detaching the sound of each other.

In conclusion, PRO 900 is a pair of cheap but quality, comfortable, convenient and providing (the record of my ears) listening analytically quite usable and appropriate to the composition or mix.

I remake this choice, yeah, sure!

Purchased some ten days running almost 24/24 so about 70 hours
and already the sound has really changed from the early low level that are more round
Spatialization is impressive from the beginning but I knew already because I have an ultrasound Pro 2500 for 5 years

Compared to other brands like Sony, which announced 7509HD 5-80 um I say that low down to 100 max and again (for me it's a cardboard headphone stereo very poor low nonexistent)
Here the entire spectrum is present and the lack of bass and treble a bit garish medium sometimes on 2500 (open face headphone) was corrected
This headset allows the bass not always obvious in a home studio (I have Dynaudio BM5A)
The RPIX is certainly a little expensive but rather than buy several headphones at 200 euros it is worth buying one of the departure
I would do without hesitation that choice but I have for years it is no longer guaranteed 5 years and handmade in Germany and not in Asia as most headphones on the market
