USE
Configuration very simple. All the usual rglages a compressor, except ratio, which reacts much like a varimu.
SOUND QUALITY
The effects are very effective, the S3 is faster than other opto compressor, which puts a bit from other machines.
The sound is very original. The analog multiband compression provides original relief to the sound, but it can also break the balance of a mix.
The manufacturing quality is dcevante, not the level of mastering usual appliances. But aa charm to work with a little finicky devices.
NOTICE GLOBAL
The price quality ratio is given as bad manufacturing quality leaves to be desired.
It's a shame, because with a equivalent circuit, but better built, the S3 find its place in many mastering studios.
