Relatively simple quick installation. The use is quite intuitive, but we can find a manual in pdf format on the official website, or on the installation CD, or consult software help when needed.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Windows 98, 256 Mb RAM, Intel Celeron 400 Mhz => 4 / 10 I have many error messages, including one that tells me a fatal error from time to time, which forces me to restart the PC. ..

I contacted someone on the official website of Guitar Pro who told me that these messages came from Windows 98, this edition was highly buggy and had a vested interest in passing on Windows 98 SE or later . This was not possible at the moment, I just click OK to all the error messages that I meet and press Ctrl + Alt + Del when the screen turns blue, which is quite filled up to long ... Sometimes the picture freezes, probably due to the fact that processor 400 Mhz (500 gp to require minimum).

Edit September 3, 2008: it is now a little over a year since I abandoned my antiquity to spend on a new PC with the configuration 2 GB RAM + CPU AMD Athlon 64 dual core.
I had the opportunity to try GP4 Windows Vista in the first place: no worries, XP and later: idem.

The many problems that I encountered earlier on Windows 98 are more than bad memories. => 10/10

OVERALL OPINION

it's been over a year that I use. I find this software simply indispensable! Would not that just to learn the concepts most essential to know as the time and the measurement values.

The accessories are very useful as the handle of the instrument or piano keyboard with the identification of notes or finger placement with the measures, the range of dictionaries and agreements with diagrams, metronome, reading the score, to be accompanied by rhythm without stress on changes in measures, the tuner, the possibility of several tracks including the battery ...

Frankly I can not find her fault. Apart from possibly the sound quality of midi sounds flawed if we keep those Windows, but hey who cares a little sound! This is one of your guitar and your amp that counts, not the PC ...

I find that for 59 € you are really spoiled! this choice I would do without hesitation! I can not do without this software is to say!
