UTILIZATION

After the description, time for action! A bit of history already because the beautiful came into my hands two days ago after several months of design / production by Meloboys.
Telecaster for a long time user, I had trouble finding at F. ... er, TV final that would allow me to play both in a coverband of Hellecasters in which the "twang" is mandatory and Jurassic Blues (another group in which j'officie) in which the "Grrroaou" is required.
Forced to take whenever 2 / 3 different instruments to cover the range ... nice but, FATIGUE!
Spring 2010 arrives and for a reunion with friends in adolescence (we scoured a few bars with our Yamaha Pacifica guitars Cort and other entry-level) at the time, they learn finalized their brands and even produce their guitars with a Telecaster replica called Blacksword (the black sword ...). Jeremy (co founder of the brand) lent me his model he is just the first of the series for a concert (in this case, large plateau in the first part of Mr. Jones) and there is the drama! Love at first sight is IM ME DAT.
Playing on a Tele. which allows for a Tele sounds and even with 4-way routing microphones, an almost humbucker sound, all with a magical finish ... I could not resist more than 3 weeks before moving order.
Parameter confusing at first, the handle! A single piece of rosewood, rosewood fingerboard with ... but what does it doing here?!? The answer is simple: the wood density and conductivity make it a factory riffs! I opted for a wide Gibson (because I have big hands) and they created a beautiful soft radius, for anything I would deny that choice.
The aluminum body is anodized (treated in the mass of color) and Sebastien me kindly polite and personalized in the extreme. It is semi hollow, which provides a vacuum already made sound very special.

SOUNDS

The icing on the Tele, the sound is amazing challenge! I played on my little AC4TVH (with 1X12 "2X12" and even an 4X12 "Mesa) and my AC50, I tell you, it UNIQUE! The semi hollow body could lead to the side and Feedback metal could direct the sound side of Dobros but not at all! Already, the aluminum being neutral, there is a Faraday cage effect, which emerges out of hand any hum or background noise (those using a Tele know what I talking about!).
Once connected, the Bare Knuckle pickups deliver sounds hot, creamy or downright simple incision with the opportunity to get that famous "Twang".
There are two important points to add. First is the sustain ... infinity! The rosewood handle combined with the aluminum body. with their system specific junction causes a resonance endless. When I write endlessly, it's .. truly endless! If Carlos S. PRS did not play on, he immediately falls in love with this system! (But who cares, it's an old ...§!). Finally, the Black Ice ... So this is a find of US Meloduende with their supplier. A passive component integrated into the routing switch that with a simple on / off, can discolour slightly the sound of the guitar overdrive of the most beautiful effect. At first I thought they would fuck me ... in the end, the black ice on the clean channel of a class A tube amp is a killer! You lose 2/3dB volume but just what a sound! More interest to buy a pedal!.
I spend on electronics made by Seb. that CTS has installed knobs are ultra soft and a condo that can decrease the volume (I often use the knob of Vol.) without loss of treble.

OVERALL OPINION

Then you have entered is the "Custom Shop" but for trying models they call a "series", I guarantee you immediate enjoyment!
It's been 26 years since I played almost 15 years and I'm trying everything I pass in front of stores in France and elsewhere Meloduende and experience is unique. I love everything about this instrument that was designed according to my every need and joy and good humor too, I urge you to go to the website Meloduende and even if you go through Burgundy, to stop to go see them.
And a single instrument at a time when I type these words, none. Rushing headlong!
