UTILIZATION

Let me first say. I have played every EL84 combo in the book. Matchless. Top Hat. Morgan. Vintage Vox. All of them. Some are worth the price and some are not. But I've had them all.

I actually came across this amp when I was out to buy a guitar. This was the only low watt amp in the store. So I tested the guitar through it. First thing I noticed was how well built it looked. This is coming from a guy who regarded bugera as a terrible brand. It has come to my attention as of late that the company had a bad run of amps when they first started and has since taken a hit in reputation, but I have been told that the reliability issues went away a long time ago. I can attest that mine has not had any issues. I don't use the footswitch though so no idea whether that is reliable.

SOUNDS

The truth is that this amp sounds about as good as other combos that are 6 times the price. I mean that too. The clean channel is magical. Very transparent and let's the guitar do its thing without getting in the way. It's warm, not muddy. And chimes like a good el84 amp should. The lead channel is not the stellar killer that channel 1 is but still really good. Kind of sounds like a marshall with manners if that makes sense. It's good for pop and classic rock and that sort of stuff. Not for metal or any music of that sort.

Personally I think this amp shines with a speaker change. A greenback or a blue will give it the extra little kick it needs to be a truly incredible combo.

OVERALL OPINION

The price on these is unbelievable. I understand they used to cost a bit less. But it's still worth what they want now for the clean channel alone. Mine has been super reliable and easy to dial in no matter what the situation. This is not a particularly loud 22 watts, but it isn't quiet either. With certain speakers it gets a lot louder. It's too bad the first ones had problems with breaking. I believe bugera has fixed this and they get my support.

UTILIZATION

The configuration is very simple, it's an amp 'really easy take over .. The manual is almost superflux (except for the one who achte his first amp tubes). This gives a good once his hp rd.

SOUNDS

I am playing mostly heavy metal, thrash metal, blues, .. And I must say that for the heavy (I have in head group Iron Maiden, ..), it will take a few pedals. The saturation of the amplifier 'is not enough "hi gain" (at the same time, it says on the vintage amp').

In clean channel, we get little prs all. We go from Creedence (with tl Nirvana (ajoutter a chorus), making a dtour by Led Zeppelin or Red Hot.
In saturated channel 0 is obtained overdrive.De 3 3 7, a crunch well supported. At 7-del, it's too rough I got.

I played on a LTD EC-1000 in Emg 81-60.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this amp since 2011 Aot normment .. I have not tried to amp front (full range exept the Blackstar HT-1), and some amp here and l.
What I love is its power (22w switchable to 11), its versatility and ability to accept pedals without flinching.
Report qualitprix trs good for an amp tubes 1 * 12. I pay 230 euros so I found the report qualitprix unbeatable.
I would do without this choice hsiter.

UTILIZATION

Set this amp is childish. We light, we put on it. Two channels, one clean and a crunch. The master knobs, presence and equalizer are common to both channels.
As for the manual, it explains well (if there is something to explain), but there is not a Chinese party, part English, part Italian, part French ... no, each scheme has its explanation in twenty languages, the coup is a bit hard to navigate ... Anyway, the manual is almost useless.
After a few minutes of fiddling, we found its sound. It's really a very easy amp to take charge.

SOUNDS

This is a vintage amp. V as vintage. The clean is excellent, it is hot like any tube amp, and the crunch is round, warm ...
To exclude the metal, eh! The maximum loadings that produced it are big crunch Nirvanesque.
Of course, it does not exceed the Engl or Orange, but at 300 € is not spoof.

In short, I connect over my Epiphone Les Paul (yes, I have a very limited budget, so what?) And bah it sounds great.
Then I plug a strat'like singles coils, and it sounds great too bah.

OVERALL OPINION

The value for money is IM-BA-TTA-BLE!
This series V from trèèèèèès Bugera is greater than the Peavey ValveKing and also the famous amps to 700 € the kind Vox AC15.
Having a very tight budget, I'm mainly oriented hybrid amplifiers, and then I saw Bugera (Haaaaalelujaaaa!).

I highly recommend it!

All tube amp, 2 channel.

Power output: 22 watts (22 watts but lamp, so most fishing a transistor!) Issued by a big bowl of 70 watts.
Volume settings, gain, mid, bass, treble and reverb.

Footswitch to change channels and enable or disable the reverb.

Selecting a button on the back of the amp to play in triode or pentode (handy depending on the style!)

UTILIZATION

It's simple, when I tried it at the store, I started, I had the sound I wanted. It's crazy!
Easy adjustment! It nya almost nothing to do to have a great sound. The manual does not quite useless, even qqun who do not know anything at all comes out smoothly.

SOUNDS

It is perfect for my style of music: rock / hard rock influenced and stereophonics ACDC.
This gives a pretty clear sound, warm, clean and not noisy at all by going neck pickup with a bit of reverb. This gives a very good aggressive distortion with gain and treble bcp.
I use this amp with an Epiphone SG 400 Maestro. With that I sound very similar to that of Kelly Jones (who played with matchless and badcat).

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few months after using a Line 6 Spider 2 that I keep for work at home. If I had to start over, I would do.
I like the sound, aesthetics (really nice!). J'aime bcp less weight! But hey, it's tube amp.
I also like the fact that it is a little known brand, which avoids a priori to the gum when it shows up at a concert.

Excellent value for money. I paid new, 300 euros (after negotiation). You should take advantage before it increases, because there are no doubt, it will rise.

I will not go on, and on the technical characteristics as they were given by several fellow guitarists before.

The only comment I would make is that I'm scared of the life of the brand Bugera amps because it's a brand new and we do not yet back on Potential problems ...

Wait and see, but more importantly, do not run away!

UTILIZATION

The manual? Do not talk, it is not even in French and, anyway, y 'really does not need much configuration of this amp is simple, just turn the knobs to find his sound, any way, no matter how they are running, the V22 sends Bugera really mashed!

SOUNDS

Everybody tells me that this amp is not for metal, and although all! Plug it a decent distortion pedal (I have a Blackstar HT-Dual) and you will take on the chin! I tested a handful of amps in shops before making my choice, and the V22 Bugera simply crushed his rivals by his power, his presence, this amp was in the pants, and yet I tested the 50W Peavey (still worth about 500 €), the Blackstar HT 5 (359 €) and HT 20 (450 € just the head), the Orange Tiny Terror (450 € head only).

This amp coupled with my HT Dual's just the sound I was looking for years of heavy distortion busy, but clean, I'm thrilled!

My little Schecter C-1 Classic with EMG 81 and installed 85 can finally spit out what she has in her belly!

OVERALL OPINION

I have this amp for only a few days, but I do not get bored anytime soon, which I find completely unusual is that the sound is powerful, clean, guts and even at level 1 / 10! What are some amps in this price range and higher range.

Which is great too, it's out HP 2 x 4 Ohms, 2 x 1 x 8 and 16, allowing to add a good speaker to gain dispersion and sound quality (provided the HP is more than OK, but not not worth the baffle Marshmall 1960 that I intend to offer me when the concerts the applicant).

For 299 €, this amp is simply a killer, I do not really talk about his own extra clean channel, its overdrive channel for offering blues and rock couillus more than correct because I use very little, but that's my period power rock and metal that wants to, but I know that this amp will allow me to vary my styles in the future, I would simply unplug my HT Dual and not play with the Bugera, or add other pedals.

I do not regret that choice at all and would do it 1000 times without a moment's hesitation!

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use, one branch, is heated and it sounds serious.

SOUNDS

I'm in a register primarily blues and pop / rock with Fender Strato.

The sound is use Vintage 60's 70's sounds, but not only typed Fender. A serious well rounded and fairly sharp crystalline kind Fender deliciously "lamp." By lowering the treble on the guitar is even slightly consider a jazz record. The clean channel is impossible to do cruncher.
The crunch channel goes by very early (1-2) for a bluesy crunch to a sustained drive (3 to 5) all full of harmonics. Beyond that is more rough, less it corresponds to my research.
I tried blues club with low battery, 11W pussance remained sufficient, say it! Nevertheless, one can play at home in a reasonable power enjoying a good sound lamp.
For now I'm playing right in, no effect and I already has a very interesting palette.

OVERALL OPINION

After long hesitation between Peavey Classic 30, Fender Blues Junior and Fender Blues Deluxe, I discovered quite by chance this amp.
I thought it would probably change the HP to use I no longer believe.
I am delighted with my purchase and recommend this amp to me seems versatile, I have yet to add pedals but I think with overdrive, chorus and delay, it must be almost anything.
The price / quality ratio is unbeatable.
