Features
What type of amplification (lamp, transistor ,...)?
55w combo in, pentode mode and 22w in triode mode, the lamp while mine has 3 12AX7 and 6L6GC BUGERA vintage guitar speaker cabinet with a series of cash 12'pouvant 70w which for me is just slightly too if we push beyond the master 90w of August 1 will be better. Warning this is not inaudible, but the sound loses dynamic
This series takes the amps boutiques / vintage where the V. ..
The amp seems solid, robust: in any case I like but good for me as the person Amli suits me and if in addition it has a nice aesthetic that can only be better!
Just the lament of the reverb volume pot which fell after three months
What connection?
Opposite
-Back: We have an effects loop send and return, exit baffle in edditionnelle 4-8-16 ohm input for footswich where you can activate the desired channel and the reverb and the switch to activate the mode pentode or triode mode
-Front: It has 2 inputs for guitar normal, bright and a switch to turn on / off the amp and another switch to activate / deactivate the standby
What are the settings, effects?
It has 2 channels: a clear (clean) and a saturated (gain + v)
Namely, the knobs of equalization, master, presence, reverb and boost common to 2 channels and interréagissent them

UTILIZATION

The setup is simple?
So basically before I had a mesa boogie caliber 50 + great but it had a channel with push-pull and cétait difficult (not impossible)) setting and mostly it was too too too powerful so I ' I had to bring myself to sell it and with that money I could buy the bugera pedals and a digital recorder zoom: So there are times you need to know to make concessions
So back to topic: this amp is very easy to use
I used to rehearse at my house (in the apartment, but he does not hear everything but it's normal to have onarrive qque sound right), with my group: it is an amp and a mat pentode-triode mode is clever
For my part I play mode to clean pentode 6, Gain 8, volume 6.5, the équalo à7/5/7, the master's presence at 5 to 7 at 7 and reverb all without having to boost a clear channel and another saturated
The clean-mode delivers good clear sound is warm clear, beads and with the reverb is really great it takes me literally!
-Saturated mode when its cover a wide range of crunch to (mostly this is his strong point) the Overd / distortion is even a can of fuzz who suffers with the boost
But as I said before the speaker characteristics appears limited
Knowing that the lamps are lamps with other bugera type EHX / groove tubes it suggests good prospects for the future ...

SOUNDS

Will it fit your style of music?
With this amp I play cheeks blues, country, stoner-rock until you ask him not to play the trash or what style it's ok
With what (s) guitar (s) / low (s) or effect (s) do you play?
I play with an epiphone bigsby Wildkat with p90 and an increase in cort kx1qt emg-hz split-
I then use a chain effect consists of a cry baby gcb95 a bigmuff ft usa, a Marshall Shredmaster, the footswich the amp, a marshall vibratrem, phaser biyang EHX memory man and a Hazara
What kind of sound you get and with what settings ("crystalline", "fat ",....)?
The sound is not distorted to all pedals except that when I put my time in the effects loop there was a slight hissing sound when I was not playing and so the loop can not be adjust the level so I had to bring myself to put my Hazaras in the following of my pedals
What are the sounds you prefer, you hate?
There is nothing hateful-apart to put the pedals in the effects loop-which is a baffle can too but I just started to be choosy but good when it was used for 10 years to play 50 + on a caliber with a 12 hp 90w celestion black shadow I think it's legitimate ...

OVERALL OPINION

For how long have you been using it?
For 6 months and nothing to complain except the volume pot of the reverb that is blocked
What thing do you like most/least about it?
The positive
-Strength
- The weld is made in sufficient quantities is not stingy with bugera it looks ...!
Rather light-weight compared to my mesa before
-Sound quality in all modes and versatility
Negative points
-The power cords (1.2 m) and footswich are a bit too short for my taste!
Did you try many other models before getting this one?
I tried
Laboga alligator-combo too expensive for the budget I had but which is better in every way
Orange Tiny Terror head with his Cabinet 12: so here I am greatly disappointed that sorry is pushed hard at it pleased me so much ... and yet - the versatile V55
Vox-combo ac50cp2 Ouaih clairque it's a very good amp but can too powerful so I would have taken - and expensive switch with a pentode / triode
What is your opinion about the value for the price?
We can not get any better for this report is of 380 € for an all-tube with 2 channels, then we must seek the opportunity with all that entails ...
Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
Now you can for 300-400 € have good machines
And it must stop with this vintage fashion is also a marketing argument: of course they will not match the old plexi, AC30TBX vox, fender showman, twin and others but mine I'm glad it sounds good in styles that I play and that's the main!
Yes 100%!
