The super 210 is a 60w, 2-channel tube amp. It has an incredible punch. During rehearsals, the rhythm guitar player must cling on to his 100w solids-state H&K! My solos always cut through the mix.
USE
I don't have the manual, but do you really need one? Nothing is easier than using this amp: You plug in, turn the red EQ knobs and that's it! It doesn't have too many pots, which is good so, when something sounds good, there's no need for anything else!
SOUND
I play mainly rock and blues in my band and this Super 210 is perfect for me. Clean sounds are decidedly Fender, although to play distortions, you'd better get a good pedal because it's not the brand's main strength.
I play a Fender strat highway 1 HSS and a Gibson Les Paul Custom. The Gibson+Fender combination is magical!
OVERALL OPINION
I bought it secondhand 7 or 8 years ago because I love Fender tube amps. I tested other amps, but for the price back then ($800), I ended up with an awesome mini-twin!
I would certainly buy it again, despite its weight! But good sound is uncompromising, because when you see the size of the transformers...
