I used in in the studio. It was used on a track with my Artisan LP. It's perfect for all styles ranging from jazz to grunge.
It's still a rather fragile amp (but it's also quite simple, so easy to repair), so I personally wouldn't bring it with me on tour, but apart from this you can record/re-amplify anything now (provided the monitoring system is decent) so why do without this little wonder?
At least, in the studio, it's a real jewel of an amp!
It has three knobs, the amp was used so much that you can't even tell what each is supposed to do, so you just use your ears. AND, you always end up getting the sound you were after, whether in clean, crunch or overcrunch
With a LP you have power at your fingertips, going from clean to crunch easily. That's kicky!
Plus, it can be the ideal partner for a big, hairy and fat-sounding stack, adding nerves.
Let alone the beast's natural charm.
All in all, it's a must have - though of course not everyone can have it
