« Fender Hot Rod - Fender Deluxe »
Published on 08/03/04 at 15:00I was looking for a G&L ASAT Blues Boy with "F" hole. When I plugged the guitar into the Fender Deluxe and started playing the guitar, I was amazed at the sound of the amplifier. The amp took priority over the guitar. So, I left the store with the amp.
Paid $499.00 + tax.
I use the amp with my Gretsch G6128T-1957 Duo Jet. The Fender Deluxe truly brings out the tone of the DynaSonic pick-ups of the Gretsch.
The three channel option provides a nice range of clean to full blown distortion and utilizes all tubes that creates exceptional sound for the price paid.
The unit offer the typical control panel options (Inputs, Normal/Bright tone, Volume control, Channel indicator etc. etc.) and provides a nice speaker configuration option.
Moreover the Hot Rod is packaged in an attractive cabinet and has a nice little storage area in back for the foot switch.
A great unit for the price, and it's a Fender!!!
Nothing to not like about it.
Exceptional construction and quality
Exceptional sound and quality.
