Best value:
Excellent
Small bulbs ampli 5 watts
SETTINGS with gain, bass, middle, treble, presence and of course volume.
Note a standby switch, such as large!
A priori a very interesting product for those like me who after purchase of war material wishing to play in his lamp in their room or apartment at reasonable volume, without breaking the bank.
UTILIZATION
It's small, easy to move, one branch and we play. Very simple ...
For cons: Gets it easy to sound good?
Uh no I is not ben. Instead we get an easy its not good at all. It spits out very quickly.
But then quickly adjusting knobs it manages.
I think it's still funny ...
SOUNDS
As mentioned above, the sounds can easily be horrible. Is there a fault on my model? Perhaps but this is my second valbee. The first was defective.
So twice in quick succession it happens but I do not really believe, everything seems to work properly.
So once you arrive at a correct sound, it's going ... the sounds are typed lamps and may have made a very nice (phew). But ... always a small sense of crachottement-channel boost.
Level rhythm that holds the road, against a leader I am not convinced. From there I took it as amplifier working so it strength to work clean.
Saturated by the cons is available at low volume and that's quite a comfort nonetheless. Convenient not to disturb anyone and work alone.
The clean again we have some good sound, a sound very rough.
The crunch is not his forte.
I put 6 of 10 because the valbee nevertheless has certain sound qualities. But strangely other things bother me a bit.
The volume is not huge. To push the beast you must increase the presence knobs, middle and treble, even not having the desired sound. Otherwise it is not very strong, at least clear enough to play with a drummer.
Edit: After careful consideration I find that 6 / 10 is nonsense. It rings of hell for the price. Frankly I would not be a bad mood.
Hop 9 out of 10. Value for its price / excellent.
OVERALL OPINION
What I like most about the valbee are its characteristics. That is a small high gain amp 5 watt lamps, practice to practice at home.
What I like least is the quality of workmanship. It's low-end amount. I do not speak bad of the model I had in the first, it happens.
The blue coating is rather crudely put, the whole is rather crudely assembled. It's true that at that price, it does expect the high finish. But other cheap amps are much better made.
Another thing that disturbed me greatly: the power tube that was it. The interior of the base was rusted and it did more good inside. Since I had two labeled 6L6 mesa side, so I replaced. I do not see how a lamp can happen in this state if only the base at the factory no quality control is done. It was a rotten lamp, no matter you put it anyway.
It is not very serious.
I also plan to change the lamp preamp. To see if I can just improve the sound.
The look, him, we like it or not. I personally think it's a nice design, but for an amp it's a little toy. I prefer a stylish vintage look good but must admit that the original remains valbee like that.
Do I do it again this election if it again? in fact I know, for cons I regret not having bought it either. It serves me well. I noted not too harsh on the one hand because it has convinced many people, and partly because I do not get material that has a certain charm.
It can easily be nine for 180 euros. That's the price I had. But that does not excuse everything anyway. To see.
The sounds are interesting but there's always that side that low-end resort. So we might say that instead of spending 200 euros there, as well Save and buy some of the highest quality, especially as main optical amplifier.
As stated below this is not a correct mesa, so do not expect too much anyway.
But again the valbee still worth
Edit: I think I was a little hard. The more I play and I appreciate it. Besides small faults I find really annoying.
Too lazy to redo the review, I will do later. In the meantime I readjust the notes.
