All lamps (3 + 4)
30 watts is assumed at all ... enough to cover a battery.
2 inputs: high + low. they can not be used simultaneously, however.
effects loop.
foot-switch: Canal + reverb.
So 2 channels (with EQ own):
1 / beautiful clear, rich, clear. with a brightness button (pfft)
2 / saturated ultra-dirty. if you want to bite (crunch has Duane Denisson) there must be some gain.
with a gain background is rather Neil Young: almost fuzz, treble parasites very pretty, but no details / definition.
possibility to add HP by switching to 4 ohm.
UTILIZATION
Personally, I lese in crunch time tt (att. not switch pitcher / distortion, I mean simply the gain setting).
because: the dynamics is such that we can dispense with two channels. if you play softly, the sound is clear and pretty. and if you want dirty and pretty, and although you attack stronger.
everyone makes fun of this amp like, "Well, it is not and if it was Laney, do you know a lot of guys (always guys ...) that affect Laney? .."
and although I find it provides.
to find the sound, it must be precise: a knob 1/8th of a turn decale changes everything (well above the level of gain).
EQ is not very radical cons. So we must train a little.
reverb .. neutral?
English manual, but it's never a good amp. ca not change much.
SOUNDS
For who wants to keep the rock guitar sound, yes it is. very roots.
it sounds better to my ears than the model II, which is too modern to my ears less than dynamic, a bit more compressed. and less attractive appearance.
(Very important aspect, is not it?)
after, he may suffer from comparison with a Vox for craditude or nags super precise stuff that cost 5 times more expensive. I prefer to Peavey or Fender in the same price, it is dripping, and personal love rather well.
even if mine does not.
OVERALL OPINION
Since 1999.
but it is down for 1 year. THE repair shop invoice Pigalle me something, I brought him, still nothing.
I like it because it's grunge. vintage early.
Yes, not bad in this price range (then y'avait not much, that changed?)
and I re-iterate: I much prefer the model II, which is similar to its competitors also in sound. it has lost its charm.
very good quality / price.
be compared, but yes. if a big head that stinks.
