Value For Money : Excellent
Combo amp: 22w, 2 EL84 and 6 12AX7
2 channels, each with separate gain, treble, mid, bass, presence, reverb, and master!!
1 global output level
Effects loop with Mix button
1 footswtich for the channels and reverb
1 mute button for silent recording via the Recording output
3 speaker outputs that easily drive a 4 x 12

I give it a 9 because mine doesn't have the third channel (Contour)

UTILIZATION

Easy to dial in because the channels are well separated and that's one of its main strengths. An all-tube amp with two totally independent channels. You get an awesome clean channel without sacrificing the Lead.

The user manual can be downloaded from Mesa's website and is an easy read.

What about the sound? It just takes 10 minutes to make it sound awesome!!! Clean, blues, jazz, rock, metal, you can play anything because the palette is pretty wide and the EQ effective, it's impressive.

If you like Timmons, it resembles the Stiletto clean sound and even the Lonestar, depending on the settings. Twangy, dynamic but also warm, not brilliant and sharp compared to Fender or Peavey classic. That's my opinion as a Peavey and Fender user.

The Lead goes from crunch to melodious with warm dynamics. It never "stings" and, boy, what a sound. I could play for hours (I actually do). For metal, consider inserting an EQ in the effects loop because it doesn't have one.

SOUNDS

It suits my style 200%. I have spent 20 years looking for this and finally found it!!
The sound is always very present in the mix because it's pretty mids-heavy, the harmonics come out effortlessly, the sustain, the warmth!
I play an IBANEZ AT300 and an Ibanez RG620X. Let's just say that I love Timmons and this amp does it for me!

OVERALL OPINION

I haven't used it that long and I will update my review with hindsight.
I tested the Marshall Double Corps, Laney (VH100R, LC...), Mesa Recto. I couldn't compare it to the lonestar and stilleto, but it has a similar sound. That does it for me.
It is an excellent value for money secondhand but it's hard to find one.

I'll keep it, I will never resell an amp like this, with such quality, no noise and THE sound!
