Cit prcdamment as:
Trs good quality workmanship, original lamps are a little fragile, dpendant use, for my part I must say that rides in the truck running all over France, j 'd have to change the quartet of lamps which allowed me to put Groove Tubes instead ... APRS having a little older I think they sound better than original ... More attack, its a little fatter ... IDAL for what I do (funk-rock, blues-rock)

UTILIZATION

For the sound, I tested several microphones: Live a Sennheiser E609 hanging at the gate did all his business done (better and more convenient than the SM57).
In Studio, Good Static too large membrane observed in acute is very well suited (though I myself use a configuration with multiple microphones) - fawn all over gnral the static it is better that the microphone does not color the sound too original curve is to say rponse "Flat".
It can also connect a RED box directly connecting the output power to send him to console - to be replaced (how much better) a direct output or line out (not on top the most part of amps) and a may also allow to take full advantage of its full power of the lamps from a sound card or on a small console.

SOUNDS

Simple enough to use first, we realize that if we take a little time to turn a few buttons, you immediately find a range of sounds from the Soul through the Blues (int clean sounds trs RESS) and a little more modern type Funk - Jazz Rock (adpend also guitar) - Blues Rock (the zztop or a little ACDC Hard type) - Grunge / punk oldschool ... yum yum trs INTERESTED much on the latter ... And I also test (even if it is not his goal) Metal type sounds that I could express in training "new Celtik merger" .. Through a Big Muff pedals distortion Electroharmonix (besides the good old pedals prfrez these racks of effects that will dnaturer your sound ...) I must say that he fairly light on its rle scnes English ...

So it's a fairly versatile amp, although its effectiveness is better around the blues, funk and grunge-punk sound.

OVERALL OPINION

Voil 5 years and I use this amp since the first change of all is nickel lamps ...
This is the cheapest its class and with this quality of sound.
I compared the type fender hotrod and other small, I prfre trs trs largely the Classic 30, the fenders seem to me to have one's a little more aggressive and less round (unless warm) ...
The Classic 50 is my view too powerful (vol 1 you tear the roof of the house)

I have not really had the problem of who does grsillement cit browsing this forum (barely audible dpart, but since the groove tubes no Pb).

I would do 10 times the same choice!
