Correct
All Tube Amplifier
3 12AX7 pre-amp and two EL34 (Mullard!) Power to deliver 50 watts
1 HP Celestion Vintage 30 8 ohms
2 channels and a boost for solos
A double-spring reverb
1 LED grinder
1 pedal switch for channels and the boost
2 extension speaker outputs, effects loop + 1 line out
Ability to change between EL 34 and 6V6
Standby and auto matching circuit so no worries with the bias adjustment
UTILIZATION
Easy Setup, knobs hyper accurate and responsive allowing considerable strength in the sound.
Manual is well with all maintenance scheme
SOUNDS
So how can I say ... the sound is simply one of the best I've heard!
The clean channel (channel 2 and not 1 once will not hurt): its very fendérien, brilliant, precise, warm, well balanced with low précses, clear treble, in short, it's worth quite a Fender Twin or a Deluxe. Possibility to vary with the bright switch.
The channel distortion, so there! the slap, it buries pretty beefy amp kind of JCM 800, Mesa Boogie rectoverb etc.
With the EL34 it sounds british but it's pure profit HI! I own a Mesa Boogie recto well I must say that for a lower price it outperforms in accuracy in the sound. There is a little less gain but is clearer, hotter, harmonies all sorts alone. In short it is huge as his.
OVERALL OPINION
Best amp that I've ever played. Traynor is a high quality product with very very pro for cheaper than Mesa Boogie or Fender better. Why? less advertising, but produced little attention to make by hand each amp seriously.
Very very difficult to find in France so I went in import. The price is high but that the € 1,000 worth. Amp quite a high-end "boutique" for two times less than Mesa. Besides, I'll sell my rectoverb! has bought them closed, if you find any opportunity go for it!
