Handmade in Canada
50 Watt All Tube: 3 Mullard 12AX7 in preamp, 2 EL34 power a grinder
1 Celestion vintage 30 (thus under 25w due impedances if you do not connect an extension cabinet)
2 channels and a boost for solos with independent settings
A double spring reverb ACUTRONIC
1 switch clean / distortion / boost
2 outputs for speakers extension
A series effects loop at the base but adjustable in parallel if we go tampering under the hood
Wood very heavy and solid, closed cabinet at 3 / 4
UTILIZATION
Two independent channels in terms of equalization, but also gain and volume.
If you share the settings to 12, already it sounds so impressive. There is a well proportioned balance between the bass, treble and midrange.
then just sculpt the sound to its taste.
The effects loop and very clean, I plug my GMajor and it goes perfectly because the loop is in series.
SOUNDS
I play in a group of rock at the base but tinged full of influences and the amp is at ease.
There is a lot compared to Mesa Rectoverb.
To have heard a few years, I must say there are similarities but also significant differences.
First, the clean sound is rounder warmer than the righteousness of a Recto. It's enough to slam the Fender (like a Twin Reverb for example). Bright mode it does not crunch, it can push the beast, one is on real clean. in normal mode, and with doubles as Roxane on my 1000, it sounds more british but without being totally. There is a real personality. Personally I prefer the sound bright.
Disto level is huge. The grain is generous, powerful but really very, very accurate. I do not think I have heard such precision in the bass before. I actually felt like playing on amps that had no bass next!
Without pushing the gain in depth we go from crunch to overdrive ACDCesque up a monstrous makes everything tremble around!
The former second guitarist in my band played on JCM 900 and it was completely crushed when I sent a beat.
Same volume pushed the amp does not vibrate, it vibrates around the rest.
With this amp you can even play full chords without it and it dribbles with a very high gain.
OVERALL OPINION
Hard to say except that it's my favorite amp. Accurate, powerful, with personality.
Two times cheaper than Mesa as Traynor is a trade mark in Europe confidential but very popular in the U.S. or Canada.
Choice to make eyes closed if you like the versatile H Gain a clean Fendérien.
It is to my taste hair cell, 10 and yet I'm not used to this note, but there nothing wrong.
