Value For Money : Excellent
Amplification Tube 3x 12AX7 preamp and four EL84 in power.
The internal speakers are Celestion Greenback G 12'M.
2 channels each with two inputs (high or low) or all four possible input jack to 6.35 standard.
In and Out for effects loop with a switch to bypass.
Output 2 HP: 1 extension to keep the combo's internal speakers and add an external speaker (16 Ω only), and an external internal baffles cut out this combo has an impedance switch (8 or 16 Ω).
Making a footswitch jack that Appendix 6.35 is optional (exagéré!!) But good as the standard c you can have a two-way footswitch not stamped from the famous brand for € 10, the footswitch is used to enable or disable reverb and / or Tremolo.
The power is delivered 30watt as the name implies.
The settings for the Normal Channel: Volume and Tone Cut Master and the Master section of the amp.
The Top Boost channel settings: Volume, Bass and Treeble and of course the Tone Cut Master and the Master section.
Adjusting Reverb: Volume and Tone Adjustment Tremolo: Speed (speed of effect) Depth (depth of the effect)

UTILIZATION

Configuration is very simple and it sounds good quickly especially if you push a little preamp + half of the race ... the volume knob and if you mount the master beyond the half then your amp is fully expressed in the neighborhood but be careful and your precious ears! IT MOVES. This is an amplifier stage ..... for the rooms rather ogle the side of 15w (AC15), smaller lighter cheaper and you get better sound at lower volume ...
The manual is clear enough and is making adjustments to the ear and depend on each.

Overall its a typical tube amp: hot and very dynamic (difference between a touch of strings and a violent attack is made so faithful)

SOUNDS

I play mostly blues rock and indie rock, he is at ease in all three records.
For the indie rock with heavy distortion prévoyé to add a distortion pedal. I use a Dirty Little Secret sounds potbellied type marshall crunch and a vintage MXR Distortion III Boost mode for choked rhythm of the right hand or solo. I saw this config of the owners of Marshall or other gas plant to make a funny face when their first reaction was to snub this antiquity used by the Beatles ....
For guitars I use mainly a Japanese Stratocaster 54 VSP, with which everything is possible distortions from light to light or lens comes in, or a Gibson Custom Lespaul which gives very good sound and light Jazz formidable to crunch distortion hot fat and typed in 70's Top Boost mode. The spring reverb is magical and effective tone control, tremolo is nice but typed vintage setting is not always easy to walk a little tremolo will be more efficient and versatile .....
Properly adjusted and with this amp never let me down ....

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 6 months it is now run in (cabinet and lamp) it sounds very well (the first few hours are a bit unsettling, do not actually need time to lamps (ten hours) and baffles new (just over) to achieve their highest quality. ... As a car)
I tried a few amps 60w Marshall TSL in stack (old amp) the vox allowed me to have a real clear sound brilliant definitely lacking in TSL devastating distortion even if he does not need external effects. I also have a Fender Bassman 100 head plugged into a Marshall 1960 A (4x12 ') the clean sound is just as beautiful as ever but this monster in need space and a great effect for a rich sonic pallette (no reverb channel not saturated) and then you have a van for transportation while the Vox is placed on the back seat of smaller vehicles ...
It weighs 32kg so still handle the three are not redundant. But when you want quality ...
The value for money is good even if we could have the footswitch supplied at that price! (Ps: the price shown is the retail price in New Caledonia ... high import tax!) 1000 €
I would do without hesitation that choice ...
