First series of amps comémoratifs 50 years of Marshall, in fact Engleterre, proudly ...!
1 watt, JTM look old but small head with Block logo, two knobs (vol + tone) 2 hp output (in an 8ohms and 16ohms in) and a small switch power attenuator.
Ok quality finish

UTILIZATION

Plug and Play, it is connected to a cabinet and motor!

SOUNDS

I was concerned with the acquisition of this type of amp to have a slender without his bass, bought more for its looks as for his sound.
the first note of music that sprang immediately to my fears faded, it's a REAL amp (for those who still doubt it) with the concentrate Marshall tt good hour inside.
I must say it is even more interresting bcp as many amps higher category.
The tone is decidedly vintage Marshall 60's, the sound of what JTM45 ... I also have one and comparing them, the voicing of JTM1 follows closely that of 45 but is less bright qd same bcp; well compare what is comparable, but it's still damn good!
The EQ is pretty basic no big change from 0 to 10, say that the adjustment of tone is proportional to that volume, it is more stronger, we put.
To those who think the volume could be a bit weak ... NOT AT ALL! IT'S EVEN ENOUGH LOUDDDDDD! Well of course it's still in the lower power but enough to dust off the ears well.
The possibité of the switch is very interresting 0.1W in sensitive environments, because the sound is diminished but not lost bcp dynamics, unlike other small amps mitigated.
I plug it into my Marshall 1960AX cab (4x12 greenback) it's just perfect.
He will head the way need a cab that opens and of course, who reminds him of his origins so for me the 4x12 is a must.

OVERALL OPINION

Ideal in the studio, may be feasible in this group is an amp that gives you direct the Mojo!
the downside is its distribution, very very very small amounts for this baby JTM making it already one of the most collectible amp ...!
