Palmer have done us the honor of introducing Blutsturz, their new tube amp head for guitar, at the NAMM Show 2014.
Blutsturz (bleeding in german), is still a prototype, so this presentation is exclusive.
Blutsturz is a 20W Class A single-ended guitar amp head equipped with a KT120 power tube, an emulated direct output (in fact, it is loaded with the PDI09 The Junction passive DI with all the functions) and a loadbox.
The front panel offers master, gain and tone knobs, as well as bass, gain and effect loop switches.
You’ll also see on the front panel a large LED which color changes according to what you play and the gain mode.
Full details are expected soon on the Palmer website (probably for Musikmesse in March), in the meantime, here is the presentation, followed by a demo, of the Blutsturz:
